This apartment occupies the superior floor of the Villa and offers one of the most spectacular views of the lake and the mountains and the Golden Triangle (Menaggio, Varenna & Bellagio), from the large, 80 sq.m. panoramic terrace. You can also enjoy the stunning lake views inside the apartment, especially from the open-plan living area with wood burning stove. The new kitchen is fully fitted and includes an oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster and a blender. There are three bedrooms (2 king size beds & 1 set of bunk beds that can be separated) and one bathroom with a separate shower, a bath and hairdryer. The property has been designed to enjoy the unique lake-view from all the angles. The apartment offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and will surpass all your expectations. Underneath the terrace, there is under-cover private parking. If you have a larger party of people to accommodate, you can also rent 'Domus Isa' (ID No. 154) - enjoy your privacy with your friends or family very close by. Please enquire about discounted rates for renting these two properties together. The central lake area of Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna, Tremezzo are all just a few minutes drive away. North of the apartment you can visit all the characteristic villages, such as Domaso, Dongo and Colico. The north of the lake is also the area where you can take part in all types of water-sports, such as wind-surfing and sailing. The San Siro Area - Rezzonico (Santa Maria Rezzonico) is a characteristic medieval suburb dominated by the XIV century Castle built by Pope Clements XIII family. It is one of the most charming villages on Lake Como, situated on the sunny western shore of Lake Como near Menaggio (7 km) and Como (35 km). Flights of steps, small paths come downhill to the lake among ancient houses with elegant portals and pastel coloured houses and porticos where fishermen spread out and repair their nets. Along the shores you find secluded beaches and picturesque spots. For mountain lovers there are walks through small and sunny villages. From the peaks of Monte Bregagno you have the view of 3 lakes: Como, Piano, Lugano. You find rural settlements with their old houses made of natural stone, little piazzas with wash places and ancient chapels which take you back in time. Art and history live again in the villages of Tremezzina. Rezzonico is a good starting point for short excursions to the main villages of the lake: Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna, Tremezzo, Lenno, Como. It is possible to visit the most beautiful towns of Lombardy and the most well known mountain scenaries of Valtellina, Val Chiavenna, Engadina, on day excursions. The village is very quiet, has few restaurants, small supermarket, bank, pharmacy. There is also a small market every two weeks on Wednesdays. | To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival. | |||||||||||||||||||||
